Attorney Profile

Price Kent, Esq. is a California native. She received her Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance in 1994 from the University of California, Irvine and continued on to earn her Master of Fine Arts degree in Oboe Performance as a Chancellor's Fellow in 1996. Ms. Kent has performed as a professional oboist for over 15 years. Having worked in the Hollywood film and television recording industry, as well as on stages all over Southern California, she decided to take on a new challenge, the study and practice of law.

In 2006, Ms. Kent earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the Whittier College School of Law. During her legal education, Ms. Kent served as a Federal Judicial Extern for the Honorable Stephen G. Larson, Central District, Riverside, California following her first year of law school. She subsequently worked as a law clerk to Judge Nho Trong Nguyen in her second year, West Justice Center, Westminster, California. Ms. Kent was the recipient of the Center for Intellectual Property Fellowship and went on to receive her Intellectual Property Certificate in addition to her JD. She completed coursework in the areas of Patent, Copyright, Trademark, Trade Secret, Feature Film Finance , Right of Publicity, and Entertainment Law. She also was a Teaching Assistant for the Intellectual Property Legal Research and Writing department.


Price Kent is licensed to practice before all courts in the State of California and the United States District Court in the Central District of California.

Ms. Kent is a member of the California State Bar, Orange County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Orange County Women Lawyers Association, UCI Alumni Association.

Ms. Kent is dedicated to serving the legal needs of her community. She volunteers regularly to assist the Orange County Bar Association in bridging the gap between the legal system and the general population. She is a member of the OCBA Presidential Task Force for the Legal Survival Skills Program. As a task force member, Ms. Kent trains lawyers to teach local highschool students the legal survival skills necessary to succeed as an emerging adult in the community. The program was designed to raise the awareness of the soon-to-be 18 year old students as to their newly acquired rights and responsibilites as a legal adult.
